We must admit that we are a little taken back as we have been getting tons of positive feedback from this version, especially umong those who have the Kontakt version who have upgraded.

Wonder if there is a way to cross grade or trade to the Kontakt version? Maybe there will be upgraded with the original full sample set including the missing bark layers? Was going to get the 3x but got this instead and it does not give the realism or low latency CPU performance I was expecting. I feel the advertising on this is misleading calling it "Ultimate" and not letting us know upfront this is the lite version. All this and it still uses much more CPU than the Kontakt suitcase on Windows. There are also less then half the release and staccato release samples. Samples are 16 bit vs 24 and the sustain samples span every 5 keys vs the Kontakt version that is sampled every other key. Looked under the hood in Mach5 and low and behold this is a stripped down lite version. Comparing the suitcase it just did not sound as real even after turning down the over the top clanks and dirt. But I have the original Neo Soul Keys without the the 3x and it is superior baring the UVI 505 chorus and spring reverb. Yes it sounds good with some tweaks and use of the effects. Must say I am also disappointed in this library. I agree they sound a bit fake and over the top by default. You can turn it down like the other effects. You may have found already those are the effects of the "dirty" knob. The way it's reads to me, is if you are a NSK3x Kontakt owner, you would have to buy the DYNO and EXP5 expansion packs separately, to equal what UVI 5x.
